With the new Marine Diver Black Sea (Ref. 263-92-3C), Ulysse Nardin once again updates its maritime-inspired collection. Looking deliciously un-Rolex with its vulcanized rubber case and eerie black-and-red color scheme, the Black Sea may not be as versatile as a Submariner, but it definitely is as original as money could buy.

Orient M-Force Diver Finally Available in US
It looks like Orient is finally going to reintroduce its M-Force series to the North American market. The offensive will begin with the new Wunderwaffe: the 2011 M-Force 200M (refs. EL03001B, EL03001D & EL03002M) automatic diver. Available in three colors of its dial (black, blue, and orange with the pale green luminescent substance on its hour markers and hands,) the new timekeeper is officially rated for 200 meters, which makes it a perfect companion for recreational scuba diving.
Dievas Vortex Professional 500M Tactical Diver
Featuring a very clean design that successfully combines the legibility of a classic pilot’s watch with the ruggedness of a modern diving tool, the new Dievas Vortex Professional 500M may be a bit too expensive for a person graduating from something like a Seiko Monster, but, in my humble opinion, easily compensates the price differential with the build quality, impeccable styling, and, of course, tons of German-style mojo.
Moving Upmarket: Nixon The Ceramic 42-20
Although Nixon is mostly known for its youth-oriented, comparatively inexpensive models, their recently introduced Nixon The Ceramic 42-20 automatic diver is created with a higher price tag in mind.
Casio Men In Dark Purple (MIDP) GF-1000BP-1DR Frogman
Casio has revealed its digital Men In Dark Purple (MIDP) GF-1000BP-1DR Frogman that will go on sale in April 2011. As huge as the national debt of the United States, the new device is designed with the kind of people in mind who prefer a Kawasaki Ninja to a Nissan Micra as the main means of transportation.
Swiss Military Hanowa Flagship Diver
The recently introduced Swiss Military Hanowa Flagship may not offer much in terms of water resistance or technical specs, yet it gives you a Rolex Submariner-like exterior -well, I am a bit lenient here- without being a blatant rip-off while sporting a genuine Swiss Made label on its dial at just 1/10th of the price.
