Hublot, one of the youngest (and the most daring) ultra-luxury watchmaking brands, has introduced yet another iteration of its top-selling Big Bang collection of sporty chronographs. The 2010 Big Bang Gold Chronograph (ref. 301.PX.1180.RX) comes in a generous 44.5-mm case made of brushed 18-karat red gold.

Oris ProDiver 51mm Chronograph Diver in Titanium
The 2009 Oris ProDiver Chronograph (ref. 01 674 7630 7154-Set) is one of those intimidatingly large beasts that are supposed to be more than a luxury accessory for a successful person.
Porsche Design Flat Six P’6340 Automatic Chronograph
With its easy to read dial and impeccably finished surfaces, the new Porsche Design Flat Six P’6340 Automatic Chronograph sports an almost flawless design. Its only problem is that it takes only one quick glance to understand what kind of movement is beating inside its generously proportioned stainless steel case.
Victorinox AirBoss Mach 6 Power Gauge “Aviator”
Featuring a cluttered dial and an oversized body, the Victorinox Swiss Army AirBoss Mach 6 Power Gauge doesn’t look like a practical choice. However, the exaggerated busyness of the exterior and the nice finish of its mechanical movement makes this “aviator” a nice fashion accessory for those who always dreamed about accomplishing a tour of duty on a real aircraft carrier.
Chopard Mille Miglia: Finally in Scratch-Proof DLC
Chopard has unveiled the Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Speed Black (Ref. 168459-3008) chronometer back in January 2008. Visually, it differs from the previous iterations only with the color of its massive case. However, while the original GT XL Chrono featured an unremarkable stainless steel body, this one uses a relatively new (well, at least it is new for the watchmaking industry) technology that allows the case to maintain its finish for the virtually whole lifespan of the device. User discretion is advised, but it is one of the most durable coatings available at today’s level of technology.
Montblanc TimeWalker Chronograph (ref. 103094)
In 2008, Montblanc has introduced yet another TimeWalker. Delivered in nicely styled stainless steel with black ceramic elements decorating its body and comfortable-looking bracelet, the chronograph makes a good impression although its sticker price may scare a lot of potential customers away to more traditional models with better-advertised brand names printed on their dials.
