The 2011 Ball Storm Chaser DLC Glow Chronograph (ref. CM2192C-P1J-BK) may be the answer for those looking for a watch that glows, um, all night long. Even if it is an endless, life-draining polar night, you will never have to worry about your beloved timekeeper losing its brightness: the mildly radioactive gas that is stored inside its micro-tube will have enough own energy to keep glowing for ages.

Louis Moinet Geograph Limited Edition LM-24.10.60
The new limited edition Louis Moinet Geograph (ref. LM-24.10.60) offers a durable and dependable work-horse movement in an exquisitely designed and flawlessly executed case. Although the recommended street price for this timekeeper is a bit too steep (to a degree when you should rightfully expect an in-house mechanism beating inside its stainless steel case,) it still looks extremely elegant and eye-watering refined. If the price wasn’t an issue, I think I would be throwing cash right into my monitor instead of writing this brief review.
Revue Thommen Airspeed XLarge Chronograph (16071.6877)
Later this month Revue Thommen is set to present the new member of its Airspeed family of luxury “aviators”: the new Airspeed XLarge Chronograph (ref. 16071.6877). Featuring a bland, even somewhat generic exterior, but being equipped with a robust caliber, the chronograph doesn’t offer much in the styling department, but gives you good “value”, especially if you will manage to find one with a good discount (or simply opt-in for a used one in mint condition.)
Raymond Weil Maestro Automatic Chronograph
With their 2011 Maestro Automatic Chronograph (ref. 7737-PC5-00659), Raymond Weil adds yet another ETA 7750-powered model to the thousands of other ETA 7750-powered chronographs already available on the market.
ETA 7750-Powered Oris Big Crown X1 Calculator
Oris, an independent watchmaking brand, has officially presented its 2011 Big Crown X1 Calculator (ref. 01 675 7648 4264-Set 5 23 77) “aviator.” Featuring the traditional coin-shaped bezel and an easy to read dial, the new model doesn’t look particularly original, but it still makes a nice impression with its high build quality and attention to even the smallest details.
IWC Portofino Chronograph is a Speedmaster Alternative
Delivered in a moderately oversized body, this new IWC Portofino Chronograph (Ref. IW391002) is a nice alternative to both Patek Philippe chronographs that are just too formal and the Omega Speedmaster series, which is just too sporty. Relatively affordable and styled with attention to even smallest details, this is something that you want to wear in the office.
