The 2012 Frederique Constant Moon Timer (ref. FC-330B6B6) comes equipped with the same automatic movement as their rectangular-shaped Carree Moonphase Date model but is presented in a sportier, medium-sized body that reminds us about pocket watch-based models from the 1930s and perfectly matches its irresistibly vintage-styled dial layout. Curiously, the new timekeeper is more in line with the 2012 Alpina Heritage collection.

Under Pressure: Alpina Extreme Diver 300M
During Baselworld 2012 trade show the Swiss watchmaker Alpina has presented a pretty sexy automatic diver. The new Alpina Extreme Diver 300M not only sports a nicely-shaped case with an easy to grasp notched bezel but also features a pretty much impressive water resistance rating of 30 ATM: that’s 300 meters!
Oris ProDiver 1000M Celebrates USS Kittiwake, Which is Now a Reef
The 2011 Oris ProDiver Kittiwake Limited Edition 1000M Diver (ref. 01 733 7646 7184-Set) arrived as a limited edition model. With its sturdy, chunky titanium case, as well as a choice of either a black rubber strap or a titanium bracelet with a handy wet-suit extension, it was one of the most interesting diving tools of the year.
The Alpina Startimer Classic Is A Dressy “Aviator”
The Swiss-based watchmaking brand has updated its Startimer line with a new Alpina Startimer Classic Automatic (Ref. AL-525SCR4S6.) Designed to carefully mix refinement of a dress watch with a no-nonsense style of a vintage-styled aviator’s timekeeper, the new gadget does its job just fine.
Raymond Weil Jasmine in Rose Gold PVD (2935 PCS 00659)
The watchmaker has recently updated its Jasmine collection with several new models. Powered by quartz and mechanical movements, they all look great and desirable. But it was the new Raymond Weil Jasmine in Rose Gold PVD (Ref. 2935 PCS 00659) that grabbed our attention.
Raymond Weil 35th Anniversary Maestro Full Calendar
With the new Raymond Weil 35th Anniversary Maestro Full Calendar (Ref. 12849 G 00659), the watchmaker offers yet another generic timekeeper at a ridiculously high price. Although the brand has been in business since 1976 (it is just a couple of years younger than yours truly,) there is something fundamentally unhealthy with their self-esteem.
